A light cone consist of a past cone and future cone joined at the point of the here and now. The past maps the space and time of possible events we can receive (at the speed of light) in the present. The future cone maps the time and space (at the speed of light) we can effect in the future. They are our window of observation and effect. As we move through time and space our cone moves with us, changing our observational window and future possibilities.

Every point in space at any time may be represented by a light cone. But only those cones representing actual participants in the universe can be said to exist. In addition, the cones represent possibilities, the only part of the cones that are actually manifest are the discrete change communication event spikes composed of BinaryDifferentials that actually occur where the cones of two objects intersect. The event spikes themselves are all that we actually perceive and are sufficient to understand all that we perceive including space and time in InformationPhysics.

Light cones define a ReferenceFrame and an independent clock for each observer or participant. Independent light cones are manifest as object manifest independent ticks of their independent clocks as events or communicating BinaryDifferentials received and propagated, spikes of existence. TheCaseOfTheElectronCollision shows how disagreements manifest independent light cones and ReferenceFrames.

Although the are disagreements in the microcosmic direction of time between reference frames, the ordering of events for any clock (or participant in our universe) are absolute. No observer sees any clock going backwards. This is insured because all received information is annihilated entirely before it is propagated. Quantum interactions are all or nothing. Once an event is perceived, it can never be perceived again no matter what your perspective is.
